Embassy of the Republic of Korea to Azerbaijan

On January 30 (Fri), Ambassador Kang Gym-gu hosted Gulchohra Mammadova, Rector of the Azerbaijan University of Architecture and Construction, and Elbay Qasimzade, Chairman of the Union of Architects of Azerbaijan, for a dinner at the Ambassador’s Residence.

During the meeting, both sides discussed ways to expand exchanges in the field of architecture, including cooperation between architects and universities of the two countries.

Ambassador Kang also requested support for Korea’s candidate in the upcoming International Union of Architects (UIA) presidential election, scheduled to take place in Barcelona at the end of June. Both sides agreed to continue close cooperation on this matter.
